Make the t**t get a proper job - in a warehose or landfill. Let him mouth off and try to bully some of the lads there. See what happens to him then.

He has wasted any talent he purportedly has, stuck 2 fingers up to sportsmanship, dignity, respectability. Put him with the other animals who have been given too much money (Bowyer, El-Haj, etc ETC) and take it all off them.

    GRRRRR!

We tolerated El-Hadj Diouf while he was here, so it's a bit hoity-toity to look down our noses at a considerable talent, who does seem to be mending his ways. But either way I can't see us agreeing wages for him, so the point is somewhat moot in my humble opinion.

We all love SAFC on here. I cant say we all love football because as my profile says - I love Sunderland, not football generally. If I had half the talent of these wasters (and by God I PRAYED for it). To pull on a shirt - red and white stripes, put on your boots - cleaned for you by an apprentice....

Run up that tunnel, come out in front of all those daft mackems!!! Hear the noise, smell the cut grass.

Gentlemen (and any ladies) HOW MUCH WOULD YOU PAY FOR THAT?

And they get tens of thousands to beat up teenagers in the street, punch / rape/ run away from girlfriends, abuse their management and look for the quick option to get more money or a softer proposition.

I'm talkin myself out of football.

This ramble should have been a whole new topic. We have all heard stories about players getting the bus to the game with fans, players courting local girls, etc. I remember running back to Whitburn from Roker Park and Len Shackleton leaning over his garden fence what the game was like (didn't know it was him at the time!)

S**t. Ramblin again. also bloody angry.

Positives: Better than any of your current midfielders.

    Negatives: Says/does silly things.

Positives outweigh negatives but why the **** would he move to Sunderland anyway for Christ's sake

Barton can **** right off. How scum like him manage to earn tens of thousands a week is beyond me. And how people are prepared to forgive and let slide despicable acts simply because he's a good footballer is way beyond me! I'm pretty damn sure everyone of us on these boards would not be able to keep our jobs if we behaved like Barton and his ilk. Unless your a cop of course.

I love this. Why would he go to NEWCASTLE?

    To win things? No.

    To get relegated? Yes.

Amazing how you mags still think you're the bees' knees after one relegation, about five managers and three years on the trot finishing below us.

Still, facts, eh? Who needs 'em :)

I wouldn't be averse to Barton coming here but only if Newcastle do a deal. We take him off their hands and they take Nosworthy and MacCartney off ours.

Not for me, he should not even be on a football pitch never mind at our club. A coward, a bully and a thug, money and talent does not change that fact.
