I'm voting for the one of Lib Dem or Labour that has most chance of defeating the Tory incumbent.
Personally i would rather eat my own liver than vote Tory but my worry about voting Labour is that it might keep Corbyn in power where as a disasterous GE might lead to his removal.
normally in my area it would be Labour second but under Corbyn it may well be that Lib Dems will become the alternative to the Tory.I'm going to vote Lib Dem as a tactical vote, as Labour have no chance in my vastly Tory area and the only chance of ousting the Tory incumbent is via the Lib Dem candidate.

blood in the water
local elections
The Conservatives have gained control of five councils while Labour have lost two, on a night of contrasting fortunes for the parties in local polls.
Among the first results in England and Wales, the Tories gained Warwickshire, Lincolnshire and Monmouthshire.
Labour lost control of Blaenau Gwent and Bridgend, but held onto Cardiff.
Lib Dem results have been patchy - they failed to stop the Tories retaining control in Somerset - while UKIP have lost all of their 42 seats so far.
Despite the results, the Conservatives have attempted to downplay their significance as a guide to the outcome of the general election on 8 June.
Seems to me the tories have now fully taken over UKIPs ground.. as expected the Libs have not the size or power to take advantage and labour are getting smacked
It is as everyone has said an absolutely sin what the labour party has done since brexit.
And the old referendum divisions in Labour already emerging...councillors saying Corbyn distrust on the doorsteps, Corbyn team blaming councillors...
Labour are going to get spanked in the GE.
The racist vote has gone back to the Tories, that's what's happened here.
Labour are a total disaster zone, the party is destroying itself through in-fighting and a string of really bad political decisions, Corbyn needs to go if they want to be electable again but the backers are pushing him
Shame we're not seeing any real Lib Dem gains, but it's still fairly early, always have been a small party I guess, so always will. They need a new figure to come through, Farron isn't very charismatic or particularly leader-like
I would say at least UKIP have imploded pretty much totally but they seem to have haemorrhaged their vote to the tories
I absolutely despise the Conservative party for initiating the EU referendum and the way they used it to fuel their petty tory civil war last summer
Theres more to this than racist vote!

Yeah UKIP no longer have a reason.
Libdems suffering from their usual problem plenty of nationwide support ...just strung out across the country..
I think they are still paying for their dalliance with the Tories ...without that they could have picked up both anti Corbyn labour supporters and Remain Tories...

nope.. peopel are voting tory cos they only vote one of two main parties usually and will not vote for labour... simple.
yes a big chunk who were ukip scum went tory but the reality is for many many years its largely two party and irrespective of what WE ( as in i agree with you largely) think people are not just racists for voting tory when offered these labour ****s.
Xenophobia, intolerance, bigotry, vulgarity, idiocy ...

And that's just you![]()
