If that is true, hopefully when he gets wind of what is going on, he gets back to sunderland sharpish and kicks speakman all over the office for not doing everything to keep AN then sacks him on the spot for being a complete prick.

Little breakdown of what’s happened this morning regarding Alex Neil & his apparent move to Stoke.

Neil pulled the players in this morning and explained he was leaving, said he doesn’t want to go but Speakman doesn’t value him & although they’ve recruited that he hasn’t had a say in much regarding transfers and his suggestions haven’t been backed up. Told them Stoke have offered him a long term contract and more money.

Senior players have then seeked out Speakman & asked what is going on & expressed their desire for Neil to say, Speakman hasn’t entertained them and basically shunned their opinions.

Off the back of this there’s more than a handful of players extremely upset and want away.

This is from a source inside the camp. I’ll be shot down no doubt and people will call bullshit etc but that’s the supposed way it’s went about this morning.

Some of our lot are sounding like them up the road were like when it was about Rafa. The ones doing the crying were probably the ones kicking off AN came instead of Roy.

AN took a squad that should have been fighting for the title last year up through the playoffs.
He's been backed with signings without any hint of disapproval, and yet this is all down to the club/DOF.

Fully behind Speakman and the club on this one.

Didnt he say pre The **** Neil. that he would take his time and always had a shortlist ready in his back pocket.

If it’s true (and I don’t doubt it) that AN has pulled that stunt this morning then as said earlier he won’t be in the dugout when Stoke come to the city as he will get a balti pie off his napper or worse it’s as bad if not worse than the moyes we are in a relegation battle ****

There is mobile signal on Kilimanjaro by all accounts. I would be amazed if he has gone off grid mid season.
