Yeah SD, you're so complacent!!

I honestly don't get the panic Yorkie, just look at the quality we have brought in, yeah sure...3 or 4 won't work out but we have another 13/14 that will. This is the strongest squad we have had in many many years and all at a great age too, it will need a little time but in the long run...it will work out great!

If by Xmas a defence comprising the new guy at cb , the other new guy at cb and the new guy at lb we’re still shipping goals and not winning I’ll grant myself licence to start getting jumpy about PCs tactics. But it’s a big if…and I’m betting (literally) on a brighter future than that.

It wasn’t that long ago we had the likes of McGoldrick, Waghorn, Celina, Webster, Carter-Vickers, Bart in the same side. Let’s not kid ourselves that all of these players are going to be of that standard or that quality players on their own are going to make for a successful football team.

And let’s get past the ridiculous Christmas milestone. If we’re in the bottom four or five at Christmas it’s too late to do anything about it within our control.
 
Complacency and bottom 4/5 at Christmas, jesus wept you lot have a hell of a lot to put up with between now and then.

I seriously do not envy you having this absolute twonk to put up with,.

I'll post at Christmas or something and do a mid season drop in.

If it was just him, i would have left years ago, fortunately there are others on here i enjoy debating with, don't always see eye to eye with the likes of Nuggets or PTC but they are good guys who seem to know what they are talking about. Enjoy a bit of banter etc, so i stay but feck me it is hard bloody work sometimes!

Actually, i think i would take this squad over that!! Didz never played ffs, Carter Vickers (world beater) Waghorn decent enough, Bart (bang average but done a job) Celina and Webster decent. You talk about them like they were worldies, lmfao, they most definitely were not!
I think cook is building a really good squad here and i think you are just talking **** for talking ****s sake!
 
Yorkie, i can't comment on whether the Pig will be better than Waghorn or hladky better than Bart coz i haven't seen enough of them, two games isn't enough to Judge a player but don't put those players you mentioned on a pedestal coz they were pretty bloody average if truth be told!

We haven't just bought quality players though, we've bought players to fit Cook's needs. There is a strategy behind our recruitment beyond getting anyone who is free and willing to come. We're buying players at the right age who can be sold on and they are told exactly what's expected before they choose to sign with us.

This new regime is like chalk and cheese compared with the last one!
