No home wins in 6 against a Burton side, bottom of league one with a large bottom in former Charlton striker and your just a Fat Eddie Murphy (According to the Covered End) Hasselbaink in Charge plus the return of 2019 Play Off hero, Josh “No Goals” Parker (He’s bound to score now against us) to the Valley.

A 4-2 defeat to the Brewers back in November and a game that the addicks must win if Bowyer wishes to build on to gain a play off place at the end of the season.

It's all geared up for fatso to go home with 3 points.
He rinsed us for a reported 35k a week, then apologises when he scores a goal. Prick.

The fightback must start here. Everyone will be aware of the universal anger at their Saturday display, and there has to be a reaction. Now that I've recovered I'm looking at the positive aspect, ie we've drawn a few games we should have won, now we've drawn a game we should have lost. Surely our wretched home form has to change some time?

I genuinely find it hard to be positive after the last two performances - Burton gave us a thrashing at their place, and while we have a better set of players available, we are hardly doing much better. Frankly we need it all now - a good stylish performance and some goals in the bank, but I'll go for a tame 2-1 win with us clinging on for dear life for the last ten minutes. And to be honest, I could even see that scoreline going the other way.

It's squeaky bum time, ie match day. To be watched from behind the sofa after the X-rated performance on Saturday. At least we have Aneke back, but we also might have Pearce back it's too soon for Famewo. Miller should be back on the left where he's most effective, Pratley is a must, who knows who the other two midfield players will get the nod.

Let’s pray Watson isn’t one of them !

I continue to politely hope LB goes with four four fooking two this evening.

Amos
Gunter Oshilaja Famewo Purrington
DJ Pratley Morgan Millar
Aneke Stockley

Smith on for Morgan
Maatsen on for Millar
Shinnie on for DJ
Watson on for Pratley
Schwartz for Aneke

Next time I might not be quite as polite.
