red flag, everyone who ever visited the Den have a story to tell, i've been to hundreds of grounds(old and new) and there isn't many i could really get excited about telling a story of what it was like, none that would be interesting enough to talk about.
 
red flag - the only story's about "The Valley" are when you played against us - and those story's aint about anoracks ;)

First ground I ever went where the ground was the toilet.Once a few wall fans started to wash it had to go.:emoticon-0105-wink:
 
Happy days indeed - but the old place had served us well but it was way beyond it's sell by date....I'm more than comfortable at our new fortress and even my missus don't mind coming along now! (is that good or bad!!!)
 
Loved the old place as a kid still got a scar over my left eye from being crushed against the fencing when the surge came down the terracing when we scored. There will never be a place like it again
