How anyone can say that monk was a bad manager is talking rubbish and don't understand the problems he was having with the direction he wanted to go but was not allowed to because of the myth of the so called Swansea way and the phylosophy that was not working. Monk tried all ways to convince jinks and the board that the club needs a new direction because the newish players that jinks bought and insisted they played because of the money he was paying them was not working. Monk had a far better vision than any of those upstairs and if they had listened to him we would be still flying high today.....I have been catching up with a number of friends today and everyone i spoke too are pissed off the way jinks and the board are taking us and ill tell you another thing that jinks is doing his dam best to recruit his old favorite and pal Graeme Jones to take the reigns at the club and im afraid if he gets his wish then nothing will change as jinks will still be firmly in the controlling seat with how we play and that is very worrying and the wrong way to run the club......Monk is spot on in wanting to change things and every football pundit will tell you that monk is a very good manager with more vision in his little finger than all those upstairs put together. Our philosophy has got us to where we are but the same philosophy will take us down as we have reached the limit it can take us due to the caliber of players we are bringing in that will never fit into the Jenkins philosophy and monk knew this and tried to persuade jinks and the board we need change to move on. This is the jest of things how it was told to me and i agree fully.......What premiership side would have trouble in recruiting a manager to pit their wits against the best, there are not many but jinks is having a problem trying to find someone who will buy into his philosophy and that must tell him we need a change at the club.........There should be ques a mile long outside his office begging for a chance of a job at a premiership club but nothing.....Even Graeme jones dont want to be part of the philosophy as he said the last time jinks tried his utmost to get him....So you can blame monk all you want but your blaming the wrong man if you look at the real reasons behind our demise......

We'll see how great a manager Garry is from here Dai , once he decides which club he chooses from that are lining up at his door.....( .insert cricket sounds here ) .

I think it is related and tells you the story of how our newish players are not fitting in, so it has a lot to do with it....And besides who made you a mod <laugh>
