Der!
For the pugilists amongst us.

I am going for a Golovkin win. Brook is good, but GGG is different gravy. KO by the 6th.

If they were naturally in the same weight class it would be a great match but Golovkin is a beast and Brook is trying a two weight jump, I just can't see him doing it. Khan tried the same last time out and got ko'd, I think this will go the same way.

Khan v Brook is the fight everyone wants to see but Khan won't give him the chance, shame that boxers can dodge contenders because there are so many different versions of each title...

Brook is an excellent fighter, but Golovkin is a monster. The only way I can see Brook winning is if age starts to catch up with Golovkin, I can't see that happening just yet and I fancy a stoppage in the 7th ! Should be a cracker though.

Stacking on that much muscle and moving around at the frequency Brook will have to do in this fight, he's going to tire.

And when he does, Golovkin will land...and then it's night night.

Harsh reality is that Golovkin is unfazed by Brook's power, he's been willingly tagged by bigger men. Brook has never taken a clean shot from a fully fledged middleweight.

Kudos to Brook for taking the fight, but I expect a GGG stoppage within 8 rounds.

GGG can take a punch, I am sure we have all seen him do so. I cannot see Brook taking one of GGGs best shots. I like Brook and he is class but the step up in weight will be too much for him. My real concern is that his reputation will be irretrievably tarnished which would be a shame. People will remember the loss, but not the reason why.

I think Eubank will give Golovkin more of a fight if he ever gets the chance. Would like to be proven wrong but realistically Brook will do well to walk out of the ring.

I can't see Eubank beating GGG even if the match is made (which I doubt). Eubank needs a few more fights before he can consider GGG.

There is a reason why there are different weight classes - shame because people will recall this rather than the decent welterweight fighter that he is

Well, that ended differently than I expected. Ingle must have seen that his welterweight couldn't cut it at middleweight.

If he gets pummeled within an inch it could mean that he never fights again or has to wait longer to heal before he can defend his titles. No boxing means a lot of people stop making money. Why put the cash cow in jeopardy?

Correct. I think that Brook will now return to welterweight or possibly light middle.

That was a twisted fight while it lasted, the first round reminded me a bit of Hearns v Hagler. Shame that Brook had a broken eye socket,i thought he was boxing really well. The power of Golovkin will tell against anyone in this division though !

There's some big money fights to be had at light middle,a very talented division. He's nothing left to prove at Welterweight, and no-one left to fight !

Disagree, he's got Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman at Welterweight. At 154lbs, it's really only Cotto and Canelo who will give him the pay days.

The money fight is, and has always been Amir Khan for Brook.
