Complete bottle job.
Hadn’t missed a putt under 3 ft all season then missed 2 in, what 4 holes?
That’s a very quick opinion on his character , he’s been an absolute champion for the PGA and Bryson et al , he’s always been respectful , intelligent and decent . He IS an emotional bloke and it has hampered him , I’m sure he’ll have called Bryson v soon after , you never hear about the other less popular guys who will have done the same .Rory on his toes as soon as he knew he hadn’t won, according to the press.
Refused to do interviews and didn’t congratulate Bryson, allegedly.
If that’s the case then it’s a poor show IMO. Shows what sort of bloke he is.
Harsh judgement, maybe he reacted rashly on this occasion but it doesn't show 'what sort of bloke he is'. If he was like that he wouldn't be so popular.Rory on his toes as soon as he knew he hadn’t won, according to the press.

Not sure you can say putting has always been his nemesisPutting has always been his nemesis. I have a friend who played on the European Tour and is best friends with Lee Westwood., When they played as juniors it was always Westwood who finished second to him. When he went on to the tour, for about 5 years he was second in greens in regulation every year but never won or made a top 10. He couldn't putt for toffee under tournament conditions. He retired and went to work for ISN (International Sports Management) ..

It is about opinions, but he always seems popular on the course, let's see how the crowd reacts to him at Troon next month.‘ If you can meet success and failure…..’
I don’t think my judgement was harsh at all. He showed no class and should be called out for it.
As for him being popular?
Not so sure about that, I’ve read some of the online comments and there’s a lot of people out there who have the same opinion of him as me.
A petulant man child.
It’s all about opinions at the end of the day.
Bitter-sweet day for McIlroy. Took home $2 million for second place. Had 2 puts that cost him $1 million each for missing top spot.Absolutely imploded under pressure,it was his to lose and he duly obliged.
I usually back 4 or 5 players in the big tournaments and majors.I had £5 E.W on Dechambeau with Bet 365@ 20/1 and with 3 holes to go I'd resigned myself to collecting place money.I couldn't believe the 2 putts he's then went on to miss and he looked like a broken man in the scorecard room.
That said,he should've congratulated Dechambeau then went off to drown his sorrows...
That's what she saidJust pressure, it's amazing how your mind plays tricks with you, the hole looks smaller than usual.
