Sports Personality of the year for me at the moment. Kids should look up to athlete's like him the guy is consistent, get's on with it and is not in the slightest arrogant.
 
A number of my colleagues over here in the US are raving about Bradley and his achievements, and let me tell you, it says something when the Americans can look past the US athletes and recognize the performance of an individual from another nation. To win the TdF, and the destroy the field in the Olympics is massive. I agree its tough to look past Wiggins for Sports Personality.

wiggo's gold is small beer in terms of effort compared to the TDF win, as you say you can't compare that and the time trial gold in comparison to the rowers achievement.
Only Miguel Indurain has won both the TDF and olympic time trial gold before.

Thanks Max! <ok> There's no doubt what Wiggins has done is brilliant the Tour de France followed by gold in the time trial, but the thread was about Wiggin's gold. How about the rowers getting the first gold of the games? Hoy becoming the great British olympian ever? I just feel this thread has hijacked my London 2012 thread.
