    explain what?

the shahadah begins with 'la' meaning no and 'ila' god/diety etc.

There are conditions attached to these first 2 words. These conditions are to question everything before committing

Its a lot longer than that obviously, and it would be too long to explain on here

In a nutshell you have to be certain that there is no other concept/ideology/religion call it what you will, that you can accept once you accept Islam. But you have to have studied it sufficiently to denounce it

    something like that anyway

Hey, if hell is real, bring it on. 24 hour Motley Crue concerts, tons of sex, tons of booze. Sounds great.

That defeats the whole object of the religion, if there are two forms of it. It's like this being labelled the official religion thread, but then there is another thread opened up as the official thread, just more moderate. It just defeats the whole objective.

All religion is open to interpretation. Some interpret it strictly and others are more moderate in their interpretation.

Of course the conditions make a difference. A HUGE difference

for example the chopping off of the hand. Its not quite what happens in saudi or Iran

Firstly there have to be witnesses, who are punished if false statement is given
The first people to get questioned is the local minister/ councillor as to why the person stole. If it was out of hunger/necessity then the ministers are punished
It basically can go all the way back to the chief/prime minister/president, if say the councillor isnt given enough funds etc

The thief loses his hand if there is no justifiable reason for him stealing. If someone pinched my car/tv/gamestation etc i would want to do more than chop the ****s hand off.

Same with murder. Only death if there is no doubt and solid witnesses. so huntley dead, hindley dead
The guildford four, those lying punished properly

    Fact of life I suppose

The prophet of Islam stated that my ummah (people) will be divided into 73 sects. 72 will be misguided and one will be on the truth

so kind of warned, but also believe it will happen

**** that mate. insured or not, as far as i am concerned if i woke up to see some **** trying to steal my tele i am aiming for his neck not his arm.

By the way islamically individuals are not allowed to carry out punishments. That has to be a court etc

But I am allowed to defend my honour, property and wealth

They didn't even employ that idea in communist russia, where you had to queue for bread. Shows how morally ****ed islam is.

Difference being that under Islam certain essentials and necessities are provided by the state. No queues etc

If it is insufficient or not provided the thief doesnt get punished

If someone stole my stuff, i would either hit them, or if phone the police if it was something big. I could never butcher someone.

Would it be fair to say a large part Islam is based on conflict and domination.

or just hit him with what?

In all honesty with me if its a bat he gets it, if its a machete he gets it
dont like it, dont invade my property

If thats primitive, then I am primitive

It would be fair to say that. It would also be fair to say that about other religions and politics as well. It's a part of human nature
