    Because i was a long time supporter of well over 50 years at that time and i was a volunteer who worked at the club for many years and i like many others did not want the club to lose it's league status and become just another amateur club like many have ended up before us......You should be bloody grateful there was fans like me with a bit of cash to spare who wanted to help save the club.
    Football today has moved on and with everyone's help we began to get things back on track and we are where we are today because of all the help however small that took place in those dark days...There was nothing i would not have done for the club back in those horrible days when we nearly went out of business.
    Today we are a rich club that has seen our success grow to the top league by the owners and now they say they cannot take us any further and that is fair enough as there is a limit that everyone has got and the current board have reached theirs.
    But they have not left us high and dry and just sold the club to any tom dick or petty, they have scoured the globe looking for the right buyer and if in its final stages all is well and everything is finalized then what right have we to say they are wrong and instead of listening to hear say and rubbish we should be thanking them for not leaving us high and dry with nothing to look forward too.....If we were to back out of the deal now then again you have to trust their judgement.....We have come a long way together so can you see them leaving us down because i don't....

    You do realise there are others here who did just the same, right? The difference is I didn't have "spare cash" but gave anyway. As I recall my wife gave me a piece of her mind when she found out how much. That doesn't make me or you a better fan. We just did what we had to do.

    Fair enough. No need to go on about it. It was a matter of necessity and is ancient history. Having been there like you I'm amazed that you are so naive about this takeover. Who knows? It may work out but most of us are very wary, and rightly so.

    How can You be naive when you don't know what is on offer ? You have little faith aussie of the people who have taken us this far. I trust them completely when it comes to the progression of the club. i have no need to think any different....

    Blind faith is very dangerous in my experience Dai. For me, this smacks of an unnecessary upheaval brought about by Morgan not keeping his dick in his pants. If that had not happened I seriously doubt that this takeover (because that's what it is) would even be discussed.

    It was well before the morgan incident that we were looking for investors so that's a load of made up crap aussie......The board had reached their limit and felt they cannot take the club any further......It's as plain an as simple as that......No theories made up by some that they wont know about and say things just to be different. Listen to the club for once as they know the reasons not some deluded fan....

    How can you be so positive without knowing what is on offer ?
    Totally in line with trusting the board up till about 2 years ago .
    From there , Huw and the board are part of the problem , without a clue to any solutions .
    Some very bad decisions have been made the last few seasons , letting those decision makers deal behind close doors with the Americanos , then make a quick sale and exit is a bit suspicious.
