Dai - trust me on this, the only home game away from the Liberty could be at Craven Cottage

 

taff you are calling me a liar that i never read the article......im not saying they are im saying they were thinking about it....i don't know what the ospreys plans are for the future but it was definitely talked about...

Whatever you read, you read. However, trust me on this. The Ospreys have no plans to - and will not - play a Pro 12 game, European game at either Neath or Bridgend.

 

WHAT INVESTMENT, you bang on about investment but there has been no mention of any whatsoever, they stand to make more money in the first season from the sky money than they paid for the club. So tell me what are they investing in the club.

 

Taff I have to ask why Craven Cottage, cant see any reasoning in that.

 

I'm told that a number of venues in London were considered, but having weighed up the options, Craven Cottage was the preferred choice - size, location (right side of London) etc.

Of course it may change, and I was told it could be vetoed by the English RFU......

 

I don't get the purpose of it, I lived in Fulham for 14 years and there is no heart for any sort of rugby there as the failure of their rugby league side shows, the quins are just down the road.

Can I ask why are they going there, that's what I should have asked in the first place sorry.

 

I'm told to take the PRO12 to London - where there are large populations of Welsh & Irish people

 

So is that in an attempt to get London Welsh as a 4th region unless it is for that it is set for failure and can I ask is it an extra game, I have never agreed with is as the Bread and butter fans always lose out when clubs go on the road.

I'm told that transport would be laid on for Ospreys season ticket holders.

No - not an extra game.

 

Just don't get the point of it if we have to ship existing season ticket holders up, what about walk ups or people who can only go occasionally all to play one game in London. Seems madness and oh so pointless. the pro 12 is between 4 nations and all the games should be played in those 4 countries. What is the point of taking it to London when there is no chance of a club ever going there, we certainly aren't going to encourage any of those to travel to Swansea to watch the Ospreys as they play some boring **** on times and those who want to watch probably travel already a complete pointless exercise and unfair on local fans. Sorry mate not sounding off at you just never liked lets take these games on the road for no reason and at the expense of local fans.
