Out in the media that the deal will be done within a week .........10 days after it was announced that 4 months of secret meetings have brought agreements ......out of the blue .
The trust thrown to the curb basically , the same trust that was instrumental to catching the club in a tumble and propping it back into possibilities . A bit panicky and sad at this end .
Hopefully it works out well if it's bound and determined to happen I guess .

 

So you saved the Club ? I'm no intention of getting into a playground scrap about who's dads bigger etc , FairPlay to ALL who took up the mantle and made sacrifices for the Club as we all did in our own ways , some large some small contributions I would imagine based on what we could afford at the time .so please don't give it large as if you were the only one .I've asked you specific questions which you've continually failed to answer.

The sale of Swansea City to American businessmen Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan will be concluded within a week.

Sky Sports News HQ understands more than six months of negotiations will be concluded in the days following the Swans' visit to Newcastle this weekend.

Levien and Kaplan are purchasing a controlling stake in a deal worth approximately £110m - and will invest between £30m and £50m in the Liberty Stadium, training facilities and playing staff.

I's this the same roof you slag off every post do me a favour accept the board have not rushed into things and been in negotiations for 6 months or more so its very highly unlikely they have gone into this with their eyes closed..........You need to deal with this as it's eating you away with anger

 

Breaking news from Trust Meeting:

The US group looking to takeover Swansea City look set to accept a re-structured deal, it can be revealed. The initial talks had been centred over the group - led by US sports business executive Jason Levien and private equity expert Steve Kaplan - taking around 70% of the club’s shares. But further talks this week have seen a change of original plans with the group now prepared to look at buying a reduced figure of 60% of the current shares.

It is thought that it would mean more of the current Swans shareholders retaining small stakes in the club. Levien has remained in Swansea this week as negotiations have continued over a takeover. The change of terms does not impact on the Supporters Trust who are still set to retain their 21.1% of their shares as well as their representative on the club board.

 

The future looks bright with the stars and stripes....

There was a rumour and I specify "rumour" that some of the share holders had a small change of heart in the amount they were selling , so perhaps the ground swell of negative opinions has had an effect ?

 

Don't listen to rumors listen to the facts when they are released........Im well impressed they have been in negotiations for over 6 months so nobody is going into this blind and no stone overturned. Both sides must be keen on doing business to be in talks for that long and everything has to be seen as a good deal for everyone....well happy....
