    Scored two
    Missed a penalty
And probably a couple of others we should have had early in the first half

I'm glad my faith in SL is paying off, we could so easily have got rid of him over the last couple of weeks. And to think we even had RCC on the bench.

    Btw where is Hanlan?

There's a guy on twitter that posts up short clips of the stream he receives via iplay (or whatever it's called) - Seemed like the Gills dominated the game and Parrett seemed the stand out player for me, but will I leave those that actually went to the game to comment.

Early in the first half i was starting to panic that Eaves had lost his scoring boots for this game. Interesting to note despite our struggles this season, Eaves is the L1 top scorer, Gills have won 7 games, only two less than Blackpool who are a point off the play-offs.

Our problem area is certainly consistency. We have only drawn three, which for us is remarkably low, we need to grind out a few more draws, but a final note to say that 14 of our 24 points have been earned away. It appears Priestfield is no longer our fortress, and probably hasn't been for a few years. Are the fans to blame for that, away supporters always seem way more passionate and get behind the team, whereas at home we are full of boos and jeers.

I think Hanlan's injured at the moment but not absolutely sure.

Only a couple of minutes on the highlights, but what there was showed a lot of the ball on the ground...............

Hanlan has had a hand injury --I'd like to think he'll be available next weekend---- and with RCC coming back very soon, it bodes well for the immediate future ( if only we can keep the ball on the ground.)
I know that it was 'only' Scunthorpe (( who were flying last season )), - but a lot of the time we have lumped the ball up to Eaves - only to lose possession and on the defensive again.
We haven't got world beaters - but we can compete better only if we retain the ball - not simply ' hoof it.' Yesterday's performance ( without at least one of our better players ), proved that we can play football - and in keeping with my Dickensian theme " Please sir, can I have some more? "

If only we can win more at home we would be safely in mid table
