Amazing how tricky this has become.

Previously I have said sell Reina and stick with Mino who will get better.

But now I think well Mino isn't that great and we've got a keeper who is clearly better, although slightly insonsistant of late.

Problem is we've spent money on Mino and the rhetoric from Rodgers says he still wants Reina out.

He is still smarting from the 'Goodbye Letter'.

If there was a grovelling apology from Reina then he could get back in.

I doubt it though. I just see us losing money and him going on a free/very little.

^^^^ This . Rodgers has stated " I havent spoken with pepe since we've been out here but he made his position fairly clear last summer."

Doesnt look good for pepe unless he goes on bended knee. I cant see that tbh

i have not even seen a pic of mingolet at training.

I mean if this stuff is the case it was rather obvious before he was signed.

half the problem now days with silly wages.

players don't give a **** unless they don't get there wages.

all these players who think they are ****ing great, well they should earn it by performance incentives, see how much they care then about playing, ****s!

basic contract of say 60k max a week (even that's a joke to normal people!) rest made up of clean sheets, goals, assists, key tackles etc etc depending on position played obviously.

may not be a realistic solution sadly, but you would get less twats prepared to sit on the bench and take the money.

I just assumed he was there as well but as I say he tweeted a picture of a plane ticket in his name from Brussels to Chicago dated today with the tag "back to work #preseason"

Other than that, I'm all for team. Originally, if BR honestly thought he was keeping both to be competitive rather than just saying that until he had a buyer for Reina then if they can sort it out among themselves, fine! back to original plan. If Mignolet doesn't work out then we get someone else.

At the end of the season I started doubting Mignolet but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt because:

Our full backs in this system were leaving him and the CB's exposed.

Our CB's continuously retreated faster than the French infrantry when attacked, which made him unsure of whether her should stay or come and everyone got in each others way. The one time I saw him try to assert his authority ended up in yet another skrtel calamity goal .

Yes there are other keepers that would have the character and experience to dictate what happens around the 6 yard box but it was his first year. I would assume Rodgers has to state what expects and if that's the cbs playing higher then it's not just up to the keeper to bollock them for being cowards.

migs needs competition to make him know his position is at threat if he doesnt perform, i hope that can be reina but looks unlikely sadly.

i know we have jones, who i dont rate personally, but from migs point of view he is going to know he is better than jones, so need to get someone who will give him a kick up the backside to perform every game.

agree on full backs, why we have been linked to a few i guess. need some leadership at the back as well and hopefully this lovren if we get him will be that, but still migs needs comp for his place other wise his performances drop and even then he is prob still a better option to have than jones(which is not want we want) going forward.

i feel jones is a cheap and cheerfull option who obviously doesnt complain about game time(like many of our targets lol)we have cl football, we should be demanding quality not numbers.

did we miss a trick with vorm, or will he demand first team football anyway, although is he good enough to give migs a wake up call to perform every game.
