No reason to take Kelvin out, so leave him in, I know he is getting on but he is still performing well and thats all that counts. If Kelvin starts to look a liability Bart is an able deputy, If he then proves to be better than Kelvin then let him keep the role on the same basis. I do think that one way or another we will need another new keeper within the next 12 months to replace either Kelvin (honourable discharge) or Bart (off to further career).
Kelvin was class last season and saved us on many occasions. However, he has had his dodgy moments and even he can't go on forever so it would be good to see Bart given a chance at sometime during this season as I think his distribution is quicker than Kelvin's and I thought the understanding between kelvin and his defence was lacking on occasion last season.
bart is a fantastic keeper. proved it when he first came and ever since kelv has been top he has always produced excellent performances whenever he has been needed, particularly in the JPT games season before last and when kelv was injured from nov '09 to jan '10. obviously we still want him otherwise he wouldnt have been given a new contract last year and he certainly is good enough for this level if not higher.
Kelvin is a great GK,I do think that we must look for another young gk to replace him in the future though.
Kelvin kept us in the promotion place ...with 10 other players assistance So why fix something that hasn't broke???
