I'd seen Craig Gordon interviewed on Sky last night and did think that it would be worth a punt on a free, even if he would only be the second choice. Seems not everyone on here is convinced about his ability! I was ruined on this board for suggesting at the end of last season that we needed to get a better keeper and that we should have made every effort to sign Given. I'm not a Kenny hater but his form during most of the season was poor and I don't remember him making a game winning save unlike many in our promotion push. I still think Given could do a job but getting him away from Villa will be very hard and will he want to be given the mercenary tag having hopped around clubs recently?

Wrong mold is what your saying, I see. Prob is Swords, I'm a fat bastard and compared to me Paddy has the body of a svelte ninja. Height is the issue here not pies. If we can't get a suitible candidate I feel we have to seriously consider having him quietly stretched by say 10 inches or maybe a pair of boot like the spice girls used to wear. failing that try grafting the leg of a kangroo to him and see how it goes.
