So, for a non-attendee of Saturday's match, the key question is...

Was it a goal or not??

From the highlights it looks nowhere near over the line! Not surprised the Donnie players were annoyed. Did anyone see it from sideways on from either Gordon Rd or Medway Stand?

From my vantage point by Rainham end side of centre in the GRS I initially thought it wasn't a goal. The linesman had been particularly poor and was certainly getting a bit of flack prior to the 'goal' (unsurprisingly his decisions after the goal were met with celebration regardless of which direction they went) but looking at the highlights I believe it is a goal.

The moment is between 01:05 - 01:06 in the video, if you watch the left foot of the defender that makes the block and see where it is grounded in relation to the goal line I think it is a correct decision.

Sorry, hadn't realised that there was a slow mo bit afterwards, the moment is a bit clearer between 01:21 and 01:22.

I sit in the Medway stand looking straight along the line (so in line I can only see one post) if I can see the ball on the net side (and I could) then it's over the line.

Always behave! :emoticon-0102-bigsm I was trying to play nice.:emoticon-0150-hands
Sorry, grumpygit - I was in 'wumming' mode - I've had a great laugh over the last couple of days in General Chat ( 'Migrants' and 'Stop thief, I'm not allowed to run' threads - so easy to wind up people )

And their penalty claim was rightly rejected. The attacker threw himself over Jacksons leg which was stationary
