Our strikers were making their debut's. They will improve, especially with Cazorla creating numerous chances.
I'll answer each point individually. 1. we've got Nuri Sahin probably on his way, and a DM is in the works too. 2. Van Judas may have carried us, but this year we have a real creative element in Cazorla, and Gervinho is looking far better all ready. Our strikers just need to settle in. they will come good. 3. More teams will park the bus, but not all teams have MoN, who is good at organising a team 4. The 6 teams that will finish ahead of you are: 1. Chelsea 2. Man Citeh 3. ManUre 4. Arsenal 5. Liverpool 6. Spurs
You've answered each point properly with a valid opinion there to be fair In my opinion, you ARE going to be better this year than last year, I just didn't think you needed to be as condescending towards our chances We have the same squad as last year with extra depth and hopefully a bit more quality in Anita. You said earlier in the thread that we must be bad because we only just beat a poor Spurs team, and yet you put them to finish above us? What's your logic? I can't see them or Liverpool being better than us this year, I actually think Everton will take 5th this year, us 6th, Spurs 7th and Lolerpool 8th.
I'm expecting Spurs to make some signings that makes them a little better than you (they're going to get 35 million soon from the Modric sale), and Liverpool will adapt eventually to Rodgers style of play. I forgot about everton, but thinking about it, they don't have a deep enough squad to challenge, they have a very useful starting 11, but not too much beyond that. They'll finish behind you IMO.
Fair point pal I reckon this is the year Everton sustain it for a full season rather than just half a season, now they have Jelavic from the start.
We think that every year, and they never turn up until January. I loathe playing everton away in the 2nd half of the season, they're always a CL standard team at that point.
They have to get it together sooner or later. Basically, I can't see anything other than the top 4 we have both predicted, after that I think there is another league of 4, ourselves, spurs, lolerpool and everton, with those places from 5th to 8th up for grabs. After that it's anyone's game!
I would throw Fulham into the mix for top 8 too. They nearly did it last year, and they have a better squad this season, and the players now know Jol's tactics better.
Petric is a quality striker, did the job for Hamburg in the Bundesliga for years. I'm suprised that he was free.
