Oh aye when you're in the **** but what about if you arrest the slide? We had it even worse with Fat Sham and I'd have happily played league 1 rather than watch his percentage non football

    QPR fan in peace.

Firstly, I was working last night, so I can't comment about the game.

There's a real lack of managers around that would want to take on a relegation threatened side, and have a realistic chance of saving them. We were lucky enough to grab one of them, and I think the only other one around might be Curbishly.

He doesn't play pretty football, but he knows what it's like at the bottom end of the table. He's similar to Redknapp in that he's an old school manager (as is MON), but I think he comes across as a manager players want to work for, more so than Hughes (or possibly MON) But he's been out of the game too long for my liking.

Hoddle's another option, but again he's been out of the game for a while, and whilst he's a good manager I'm not sure he can inspire players as quickly as Curbishly can.

After that, there really isn't much. I'd have suggested Holloway, of he hasn't just joined Palace, and I'd have been delighted if he'd rejoined Loftus Road, but I really can't think of anyone else.

Good luck for the rest of the season, and my suggestion would be to stick with O'Neil. I think he'll do you right, even if it's not pretty to watch.

Really? If we're going down this season I can't see you being far ahead(if at all) worst team over the past 4 games bar none. One point ahead of us but no better? I can see there being Derbys in the championship next season

"We don't change our managers constantly so people need to stop saying that. Bruce and Keane had a 2-3 years each. MON has had a year now and there's been no improvements, nor is they any signs that will change and in fact, we look to be getting worse. We have only won 2 games all season, both against 10 men. We last beat 11 men, 8 months ago. That is shocking."

SAFC83 - Using this logic Peter Reid would have been sacked before we got relegated, infact he would not have been around to take us back up and finish 7th twice in a row - can you remember this - the stability paid off.(and we were dire in the relegation season)

MON has to buy and buy well in the January window, in the meantime he has to drop Colback(which he did on Tuesday) and get Vaughan involved imo, good passer, has time in the ball and has a shot on him.

Yes we are poor at the minute, the players have let him down - the passing is woeful- unprofessional I would say - however I have faith he will persevere till he turns it around or will take the hardest decision he will have ever taken in football and resign.

Football has changed a great deal since Reid, a lot more cash involved for a start, and imho a relegation would virtually kill us (it wouldnt obviously but I cant see us getting straight back up) and we would have a fire sale.

How long do we give MON, let him take us down, then mid table championship, remember he spent 22 million in the summer, will probably spend 10-15 million in January and the championship has a strict only spend what you earn policy now, so short cant keep bankrolling us.

If we go down we are ****ed, so how long do we give MON? do we let him have the window and see what he can do, or do we get shot before.

I dont have the answer, I just hope Short does.

    Martinez? WTF.

Manager of a club with no expectation and zero pressure and last day relegation scrappers. Absolute madness to replace a manager like O'Neill with that chicken livered twat. He bottled the chance to go to a big club like Liverpool because the soft ****er can't handle the pressure. He would fill his knickers every day with fear here and we would be number one certainties for relegation.

Stick with Marty. He will get it right.

We have some players who are player well below what they are capable of, they need motivating - I saw that Neil Lennon was talking about leaving Celtic - would he come in as a number 2 to MON?

MON will be moving heaven and earth to get this sorted, he will be losing sleep over this and drawing on all his experience to sort this out - and that is what we need, experience - not a young gun or an up and coming manager - the league is so tight that draws will become as valuable as wins, tactics will be all - not playing cavalier football and leaking goals.

Playing devils advocate and looking at it from another angle, if we are as bad as some think we are then MON has done a remarkable job in getting 13 points - if we were that bad we would have a lot less.

Hoddle is insane and shouldn't be allowed near children and teenagers in their formative years.
No surprise another deluded person in your good self would think he was normal.
