so why don't you do what's right and take a vote? That surely is the fairest way. It would make your job a lot easier too and maybe we could see in numbers the "people's opinion" ... also the voting i believe is anonymous and takes two seconds and would not require browsing of many pages.

I didn't go on their board to take the piss at their loss, I don't see why I should have to see his comments on my board.

 

Got around a bit our Ghengis. If theory is true, I postulate that it's a 1 in 5 *****l ancestral presence in Leicester, and an equal probability that his body can be found under that of Ricky the Turd, a few feet deeper, if it was a family grave mind.

 

Because a vote's not how things are done because when that's been tried on other boards, it's failed miserably. It's a multi-board forum. The owner wants cross club posting. As it stands, he may well be a tosser, but he hasn't broken any rules, but things have been done. Time will tell if it's worked.

An easy way for you is to put him on ignore.

In all fairness, signing up to Not606, meant you should be expecting cross-board interaction. To complain when it happens is just daft.

Yeah, he can be annoying, but to be brutally honest, Charlie's been doing his fair share of annoying antics over on their board, and so for us to have some plonker doing something similar, is, to some extent, justified.

AKCJ has his moments, but if you don't like him, block him. There's probably a few who would rather post and complain as opposed to finding the ignore option. Laziness really.

Simple way:
Don't like his posts - ignore him.

What a stupid rule. Cross board is all good if you conduct yourself in a good way. He's done it far too much and that's why I'm pissed. Ignoring doesn't help because I'll see everyone else responding to him and he usually is the cause for a change in topic .

it's ok going on other board but with respect, he had shown none and the fact that one of ours is as bad as him means nothing to me as I've not done it myself.
What is the point of a mod? I thought you were meant to make this an enjoyable place to visit.

the sad thing is that if a few of us said we will leave unless he is banned, you'd side with him. I don't understand why you are protecting him? What's in it for you? Remorse? Are you paid by the owner of the site? Power trip?
I honestly don't get it. Who would lose sleep over him getting banned? No one. So why not get it over with?
it doesn't matter if I'm the only one (clearly I'm not) who wants him banned. I as a hull city fan should have priority on the hull city section of this site. Anywhere else and I have to shut up and respect , but why is he getting preferenti treatment when all he does is take the piss out of clubouour club. By all means laugh on us on your own board but don't do it to wind people up on their own zone.

Well I read the first 2 pages of this thread out of curiosity.... then was amazed to see it had stretched to 8 pages (so far!!) ..wow...really??? Beggars belief. We surely have better things to exchange "banter" about? No?

The only problem with the swear filter is that it dosen't work and I for one do not like my kids seeing them, there is enough crap in this world as it is.
The only problem with using the ignore feature is that it makes it impossible to work out what the thread is about for one thing, as this thread is, I only have 2 people on ignore and this thread is unreadable.
CAN I ASK THE IDIOT MOD WHO STARTED THIS THREAD TO MAN UP AND EXPLAIN WHY HE DID IT AS HE SURELY MUST HAVE KNOWN THE REACTION IT WOULD HAVE.
