Good to see your recovery is coming along GLP.
Your next appointment to get is an eye test because once that hand recovers, you'll soon be on the jap strokes.<cheers>

He'll have to use the other hand, it will feel like someone else is doing it. <ok>

Hope you're back to your old self soon :emoticon-0165-muscl
No, Balkan. You have to lay on your arm for a bit until you can't feel it. Then it feels like someone else is doing it when you use that hand.

Can you tell I'm a veteran wsnker? <cheers>

They checked. They are pleased to confirm I’m less of a **** and a very grateful human being. It’s made me realise life is just too short to embark on petty arguments.
No it isn’t!

Pleased to see that you are on the mend. In fact I would go further, relieved that you are on the mend.

Boxing withdrew head guards, as the net result was more head injuries.
The greatest increase in head injuries in boxing was the introduction of boxing gloves. The head wasn't a target until then because there's a pretty good chance of breaking your hand if you punch someone's skull.

May not be of interest to most. So apologies. It’s however great practice for my left handed, one fingered typing <laugh>

Following my cycling accident on the 30th October I was back to HRI yesterday for removal of the post surgery dressing and 60 staples that had held everything together for almost 2 weeks.

I now have some small amounts of finger movement which is a huge relief to me :emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0165-muscl the positive side being that by the time I make recovery I could well be ambidextrous.

Cycling helmet played a significant part in ensuring I am still here today as it is cracked on the side. This was caused by double head impact with the car and the road. Fortunately the old coconut only had a bruise to show.

The nursing staff at Castle Hill (had my first Physio session there this week) and at HRI yesterday I cannot speak about highly enough. Each and every one absolutely incredible. They are performing their roles in what must be hugely stressful times with Coronavirus being so prevalent in Hull. Yet you wouldn’t know, they just crack on regardless. They truly are health care professionals in every aspect.

Glad everythings going ok GLP. I think you're right about helmets. I was asked by the first responder if I hit my head or been unconscious and I said no, only to find a couple of weeks later that my helmet had two cracks on the side I'd been hit.

Look a dork. Wear a helmet.
