Little update from Glory at the match (well, all that I can remember, including the hazy bits).
He's doing well. Has 40% use of his remaining kidney, and is on 28 pills a day currently, with a view to eventually reducing to 16 a day (hazy bit, and fairly sure that's for life). Hopes to raise this to 50% use ultimately, so drinking days are almost certainly over. A small price to pay.
He's expected to drink 12 litres of water a day, but is struggling to get down 6 atm. Hats off to him, I personally can only drink beer to volume. Be lucky if I could manage 2 litres of water in a day.
He's lost about a stone, I think, which was ironic as I thought he'd gained some weight.
Was telling me about the latest in Spain, but I can't remember a thing he told me about it, sadly. I'm left with the drunken impression that Spain is now off, but could be completely wrong there.
Anyone else got any snippets to pass on?

I was in the Peacock for ages Marcos, don't remember times but I must have left for the ground early with Shane and his mates. Ended up in hotel drinking for the night, went to bed midnight apparently. The next thing I remember waking up and hearing Davy telling me I'd missed my flight.Where did you get to then? Last time I heard a story like that a girl was drinking in the hotel with someone called Davey and next thing she remembered was waking up late for work, and had a sore arse. Rohipnol I think its called and sounds like you were spiked
