Now that could be funny. How are you lads getting on down under. I see bondi beach had to be closed.
Still playing sports, behind closed doors. Outside gatherings of more than 500 people are banned, hence Bondi being cleared, and internal gatherings are limited to 100 people but each person needs 4m2, i.e 100 people need a room of 400m2

Just over 1000 infections and 7 deaths, so not good but it could be a lot worse.

Just remembered that for many, many years, I though it was called Blondie Beach. Seriously. Had visions of all these blonde darlings hanging out of next to nothing. Was a bit of a disappointment when I finally got there.

What do they say, sometimes you should never meet your heroes. At least I’ve never been there and can still dream

What I don’t get is if two people have to have 4m2 how can they allow contact sport or why would the sportspeople even want to compete

Are you sure you didn't go to Manly beach.

Bondi is great

Good photie. Shows exactly what I was talking about. Horribly modest swimwear & not all blonde.

Actually liked Manly beach. Was some sort of big competition going on there at the time. Can't remember for the life of me what it was. Prolly surfing, being in Oz. :)

I'm giving both you and Eric 7 day bans for thread f***ing...

See how easy it would be with Jammy as Supermoderator extraordinaire :emoticon-0137-clapp

Two people would have to have 8m2 and so two teams on a pitch outside, or even inside, have plenty of space. The space rules don't actually say you can't touch but there is guidance that you should be 1.5m apart. It does make tackling in Rugby League interesting. I don't understand either I think the real reason the games are being played is something to do with the contract the sports have with Fox TV and the betting companies who would lose a lot of money in Australia if sports didn't happen. The most stupid thing I saw was after 80 minutes of rugby a couple of the players bumped elbows to avoid a handshake!!!

It’s a pity those rules don’t apply here, Millwall could still play all their home games.
