I've got 240 CV's in front of me mate, I'm stopping every now and then for a break. Just read one who likes fencing, I don't know if he means the sport or just has an affiliation to wooden panels.

I'm tempted to give him an interview just to ask, as I need some of mine replaced.

Did he try and sell you a nice new telly?

Cest Man U need: Goal Keeper, Defender, Striker.
Chelsea need: Defender, Striker
Arsenal Need: Defender, Striker
Spurs need: Striker, Striker

Sunderland need: Defender, Midfielder

We are in the same boat as many other teams.
The big difference though is none of those will be in the relegation shake up for not getting them but we will. I see WBA splashing out on a powerful striker which they must have been lining up for weeks. I see Stoke recruiting, Newcastle heavily investing and The likes of Palace and most of our bottom Half battlers doing likewise.

Dick certainly doesn't look or sound a happy bunny either btw. Should he just shut up and get on with it too?

I can see some huge panic buys now in the next 2 weeks and I'm not convinced we've planned this summer very well. Considering we escaped Again last term by a nad skin you'd have thought we'd be all over this window, not still searching for our main targets with less than 3 weeks remaining.

Unfortunately, I'm reminded of Craig Bellamy when I read your posts, cardew, because of his nickname :emoticon-0101-sadsm
Funky,, although misguided at times (like we all are), is a very well respected contributor here, and your childish arrogance ruins your chance of any level of respect. So to try to ridicule him because he 'blocked' you, and will therefore not respond, tells us all that we need to know about you <doh>
By the way . . . . Bellamy's nickname was/is 'thrush' for obvious reasons, as is the reasoning behind you reminding me of him :emoticon-0112-wonde
Quite why he's a respected poster I can only imagine <laugh>
Because he's part of the gang that post most commonly and has the time to write detailed, in-depth match previews, I assume.

How did it do West Brom last night? or Stoke at the weekend, or Newcastle for that matter. Non of those sides won. Out of 3 only 1 got a point.

We will not panic buy, Short will not allow it trust me on that one, he got burned so bad by MON and his terrible signings and incompetence that he will not make big outlays on panics (like Graham) again.

I'd put the doom before the gloom, dunno why, it just rolls off the tongue better.

Doom & Gloom.

What is Gloom? You never really see it on it's own do you, without Doom.

You always see Doom on it's own.

Doom is common.

Doom is like Batman and Gloom is like Robin.

Robin never got his own show did he?

That would have been crap.

The adventures of Robin.

Channel 5.

I was gonna point that fact out as soon as I saw the thread title, but couldn't be arsed. Total daftness getting the words the wrong way around. I would be embarrassed! Anyway, I'm off to put my dinner on........Mash & Bangers.......mmmmmm!!!
