Has anybody seen Eamon Dunphy`s comments regarding Whelan? He said--`He`s a terrible player, can`t run, can`t pass, can`t tackle and doesn`t see anything`. I have to agree with a lot of that!! I know one other poster on here who would wholeheartedly agree,Waddos-legends. So far, tonight, I realise, I`ve been negative about 3 of our current squad, I am,however quite optimistic this season. So come on you mighty Potters `stick one on Citeh` on Saturday!!

Glenn could do a job for the old regime where quality and skill were second place to hard work, he may find his playing time limited under the new structure.

I totally agree with you, Whelan shouldnt get a game, especially while we have Adam, Palacios and N;zonzi

Not a whelan fan myself he aint creative and cant tackle either so he dont give alot in the midfield. On the plus side he does give 100% but with the players we have should be no where near the starting 11. A pulis favourite if ever I saw one playing out of his depth unfortunately
