Don't worry about it. I have a minor form of Autism so I am not as badly effected by it as some are. In fact, most are surprised when they find out about it as apparently it isn't apparent.
Whelan is nowhere near good enough IMO. Very rarely see him do much. Very average player who cant tackle.
I think Whelan has been consistently good for us since his regular run in the team started earlier this year.
Ther are 3 positions in the side which need improving IMO Whelan, Whitehead and Kenwyn Jones.......so IMO Whelan isnt good enough. Kenwyn coulod be good enough but pisses me off with his attitude. I never seem to notice Whelan......we know hes there but never does anything creative and never ever seems to affect a game.
I'm no fan of Jones but so far this season I think he's played quite well. His work rate has certainly been a lot better.
Have to agree to disagree here mate, he still has a lot to prove........and thats after well over a season. I didnt see him do much today (apart from the goal) and smash the ball 10 yards over the bar from 6 yards out. Sorry but at the moment I dont rate the bloke
Sgt, My son's autistic and as bright as a button in some things, other things he beats himself up over when he really shouldn't. Don't sweat it mate.
I understand this very well. Confidence issues can often be a problem for autistic people and that's always been a problem for me and I think it probably always will be.
Sgt We are all mates on here always remember that. Only Arsenal fans will try and bite your head off! I did say TRY I've suffered two strokes and It drives me nuts because there are certain things I'm now unable to understand. I can't spell things sometimes, can't remember dates the time some days it does my head in. likes said above. Don't beat yourself up over that mate. You want to ask anything, send me a P.M. sarg
Sgt What you said about Whelan CLASSIC That made me smile mate... Has to be quote of the season so far... Brilliant
