Rangers swoop for versatile Swindon attacker, Ben Gladwin ...
The versatile 22-year-old has signed a three year deal in W12, following former Robins team-mate Massimo Luongo to Loftus Road.
Like Luongo, Gladwin played a leading role in Swindon’s run to the League One Play-Off Final in 2014/15, with eight of his 11 goals coming in the final seven fixtures of the campaign.
He told www.qpr.co.uk: “I’m really pleased to be joining the club – and I’m really excited.
“There was interest from the Premier League but for me, personally, I think this move is a little more realistic at this stage of my career. Playing is what it’s all about. Sitting on the bench is no way to improve your game.
“Chris Ramsey is a fantastic coach and I’m sure he’ll improve me on the training pitch. I spoke to him earlier this week and was hugely impressed by what he had to say and where he sees me fitting in.
“Everyone I’ve spoken to about QPR said it would be a good move for me. I can’t wait to get going here.”

Great news...if the club can get all their business done early, get a good pre-season under their belts, getting the team to "gel" before the season begins then life in the Championship may not be as dreadful as we feared.

I am just so pleased with how this summer has started.
Obviously, I want both transfers to be good for the club, but more important is the type of player we are signing.
Some will not work out for us, but so what? Nobody makes every signing a sucess.
