Yes, seriously I am. There was widespread belief last weekend that Katrien would be thrown to the wolves to appease us peasants, and I have to say I was looking forward to another classic public information reléase from the club 'years of fine service....' ' always looked to the needs of the fans......' 'sadly unable to turn down the offer of a post at Ebbsfleet' 'thank her for her unstinting efforts and wishe her well...' etc etc. But who cares about that? The fact is her sacking probably would have bought the regime some breathing space, but Roly has all the space he needs as he never comes to our matches. The protests would have lost a little steam if she'd gone, but a 'mad in Belgium' replacement with identical views would have pitched up immediately, and anyway, look how effective the fans friend, Richard Murray has been in convincing Roland to change track. If she'd gone it would have been a victory for the fans, but I am convinced it would have been a pyrric victory, like the sackings of various managers. We have barely scratched the surface of Belgian incompetence regarding managers, and I'm sure there are stacks of equally pathetic CEO/lapdogs waiting to come over and cause grief. She should be at the Valley tomorrow, and she is a focal point for our hatred of the regime. But the
Meire will hopefully be in the away Directors area as usual at full time, accompanied as always by Sue Parkes and trying to dislodge her tongue from her arse. It will fan the flames of hatred nicely when her trademark sly grin appears as she chats to the Venkys. Hopefully the withered head of that bell end Murray will also appear - he certainly copped it at the Forest protest. If Meire doesn't appear after the game we know we are winning Surely Parkes won't dare to go in there today after the week she has had ?
