Yeah most would probably join in, but unfortunately we still have one or two on here who enjoy the scent emanating from the Allam anus.
You know who you are.

mauled by the tigers is hull citys only own song.
waggy oi is a great chant though!!

The bloke who started that chant off in Bunkers stopped going about 1975 and started following FC. He used to deny ever following City despite having Hull City tattooed on his fingers. Waggy came into a pub in Fulham half a dozen of us were in after the match with his mate Barry Rutter in 1972. Waggy was injured and hadn't played. Bought us all a drink. Someone pointed him out to Waggy, who said he had always wondered who started it off. Gave him his gold lighter as a souvenir.
The bloke died 3 or 4 years ago. The mentions in HDM were full of mentions of FC and Old Faithful. Sad how he packed City in as he was good company and could out drink any of us.

I know you like to go on about how **** support is now but Christ some of your stories from the past...
It was **** then too.

Though didn't we have a few of the main men from the Ulltras **** off to support rovers a few years back?
They've probably,come back now <laugh>

We've dozens of songs over the years which have been ours, but slip out the Top30 unnoticed.

'Mauled' raises a smile but is hardly inspiring or envied.
'City of culture we know what we are' is sounding a little tired also
Both of course preferable to the dirgey 'Wise men say' which is sung by so many teams .

I quite like the more recent 'we're cultured as ****' version.

Mauled only works when we're actually mauling a team!

Our support wasn't great then considering we had a good season the one before the Fulham game I mentioned. There was just a bus full of us. Only a small bus though, twenty odd seats.

She'l be wearing black and Amber when she comes is a decent one when it gets going ...... Also you can't beat the classic - managers name black and Amber army , nothing clever but good when it keeps going for ages and gets louder - tho disappointingly plenty singing barmy army instead on Saturday

" "City of Culture", you'll never sing that" when playing some nouveau riche toytown dump like Watford, Leicester or Bournemouth, or nomark suburban monkeys like CPFC, or hicktown clods like Burnley or Middlesborough, always seems to hit the mark.

i still cannot help singing we all follow a black and amber team to the beatles yellow submarine.

60s chants....harry roberts when someone was thrown out and......enoch enoch ....well work that one out.

me mam [bless her] knitted me a city shirt jumper and a scarf,,,happy days
