I've had dealings with James. He's a nice enough lad but some of the things he was involved in (either voluntarily or not - and I can guess which) were not in the remit of Marketing/Comms. I'm sure if he was a bit older and more experienced he would have left many months ago. Good luck to him anyway.
That's precisely it. They keep employing inexperienced (cheap) people with enthusiasm and good intentions who show willing to assist in areas that really isn't their job hence they don't actually do their job. What they really need for the good of the club is someone to go in and say "let me deliver the Comms the club needs or sack me". They'd just sack them.
