    More on the sponsorship front, apparently Cisse is very unhappy about Newcastle's sponsorship by Wonga. He's objected on moral grounds stating that it contravenes his religious beliefs to promote their brand of incomprehensibly stupid bullshit. I knew that the finance industry works very differently in Muslim countries (car finance here is ludicrously complicated due to multi-stranded systems for expats, nationals and Muslims) but this is an unusual step to see a person refuse to be associated with it.

    I think it's fair, but he's lucky they don't go back to Newcastle Brown!
