As far as the transfer window is concerned, a striker would be my choice.

Northampton poor defensively (-17 goal difference), yet we struggled to score.
Plymouth poor defensively (-9 goal difference), yet we struggled to score.

We actually had had more shots than Accrington (13 with only 1 on target) yet they scored 2 goals and we scored zero.

Absolutely agree, I've said several times during this season we need a striker.
