The story telling but really jumped out at me, so I’m applying. Once upon a time there was a man who bought a football club & wanted to do great things for it. For a while it looked like he was going to, but one day he went to the council & didn’t get his own way, so he sulked & pissed everybody off & said if he didn’t get his own way again he’d sell the club within 24 hours. He lied & carried on pissing people off until there were only a few left. The End. It needs some work & fleshing out a bit, but it’s a starter.

Good luck to the successful applicant. A key attribute is LISTENING TO or ENGAGING WITH fans, not just talking at them. People have usually already formed their perceptions on many news items and don't welcome simplistic/ happy clappy crap. A sceptical fan base will not be hoodwinked by shallow garbage or trivia. This ground has been gone over many times in the past: people are acutely aware of the BS that sometimes emanates from the club. Give us what we want not what you feel we should have. And yes, it really is that simple...
