I've been put off drinking gin by being offered it with tonic water. It just doesn't go down well with me though I could try it with a different mix. Into vodka at the moment, smirnov is good enough mixed with diet coke, orange juice, lilt, vimto. Talking of vimto, I might have a port and blue wkd tomorrow, fairly refreshing. Into Bacardi at the moment as well.

Went to a gin festival in Manchester as Mrs wanted to go. Didn’t realise there were so many different types. Couldn’t taste the difference though. Wouldn’t do it again.

My alcohol consumption is very low. An occasional beer to dull the pain of talking to ACS and Trev and maybe some wine when eating out.

Elderflower fever tree G&T with lime is proper banging in the summer.

Someone I know owns Conker gin. It's a really good one if you see it is worth a try

The Evil Eye is a cocktail bar that does sell cracking gin in its shop. It’s an amazing place though and would recommend it to anyone who visits York, regardless of your choice of tipple. Used to serve a drink that required a disclaimer being signed before it could be bought!

I’ve never got on with him. Just don’t like the taste and it isn’t in cans.

I’ve had a few rum snatches over the years. Did I tell you that Pouchy’s lass goes by the name of Kraken...

Had a BBQ yesterday, loads of drink and food but a friend returned from France with a bottle of rhum blanc Agricole...43% proof...opened it...one of the worst drinks I've ever hand, the smell and taste was :emoticon-0119-puke:
