brb enjoy your cup final on the 7th and I'm convinced without a doubt Stoke will sellout their allocation and outsing you lot. We will have the reserves out and still beat you **** kickers!
Leeds-18 - thanks for putting these over excitable's straight. Supposedly read my profile All these comments on how we are going to get beat and probably by their reserves, now where have I heard all this before - although you would have thought Stoke would have learned from past experiences. Oh but silly me, I am forgetting myself they are a bigger club One thing is for sure Tony Pulis will not be underestimating us in the same manner, so I will enjoy our cup final on the 7th, they do not come round that often! However, one thing is for sure come win, lose or draw, I will be satisfied and content that I do not live in the big house attitudes of the pampers league.
I'm sure it's all supposed to be a bit of banter and meant to wind people up, but I hope the comments about winning this tie without much fuss don't come back to haunt those that have posted them. Stoke fans don't have to cast their minds too far back to remember we have been beaten by so called lesser teams in the past. This is just the sort of tie that we should be wary of. Yes, we will be the favourites, and rightly so given our respective league positions, but we must not underestimate the 'underdog' who have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I'm more worried about this tie than any of the early European games. Gillingham will have had far more experience of playing against our style of football than the likes of FC Thun. Lets hope for an entertaining game, played in good spirit, with plenty of friendly banter between the fans and where the best team on the day wins. Obviously I'm hoping that will be Stoke, but I'm certainly not taking it for granted.
At last sense prevails Anyway Merry Christmas Stoke fans, I will look forward to reigniting our friendship in the new year
Brb NO hard feeling taken by me.. I hope non taken by you. Banter is fine by me we'll take it and give it. Anyway, we will be fav's to win it but i know after years of going out in earlier rounds, nothing is taken for granted by me. And we know Tony Pulis will get a BIG welcome back to Gillingham, thanks for that. ONE team Blyth Spartans brings back memories Giant killers so it might happen again we'll see. I'm sure both sets of fans will enjoy the game Brb so they should. Good old fashioned cup tie can't be em. So, as this will be one of my last posts for a few days. I will wish you a HAPPY CHRISTMAS and of course a great New Year. See you in Jan 2012 Pott's
Well I will embrace the spirit shown by the preceding posts. May your Christmas Turkey be infested by the fleas of a 1,000 dead camels. Enjoy - only banter eh??
