Time to get your crystal balls out and have a bit of fun predicting.

This season who will be the first Gills player to:

1) To score at home?

2) To score away?

3) To be booked?

4) To be sent off?

5) To get man of the match?

6) Score a hat trick?

7) Score an own goal?

As I said this just a bit of fun so please leave a reply. Also if you can think of any other ideas for firsts this season please feel free to leave them.

My answers

1) Whelpdale
2) Weston

4) We're going the whole season without any sendings off!!!
5) Flitney
6) Birchell
7) Richards

UTG

1) Kedwell (local lad, score's the only Gills goal of the game to open the season's scoring)

2) Birchall (he can't go two games with out scoring)

3) Lawrence (surely this has got to be the one dead cert - lol)

4) Fuller (otherwise I would have just said no one)

5) Frampton (Cheltenham will be no walk over)

6) Rooney (got to give the lad a chance)

7) Richards! (probably best not to play him)

8) Probably all completely wrong <laugh>

5) To get man of the match? Lawrence

6) Score a hat trick? Birchall (who was in beluga last night, bumped into him)

7) Score an own goal? Fish

On a side note saw Birchall Saturday night too but in Road House. Spiller, Jackman, Frampton and Lawrence were all there too and managed to speak to them all. Very open, friendly guys that had photos with us and are very optimistic about the season. Looked to get on really well together too already.
