Hello members,

I am considering changing a few things on the board and before I even proceed would welcome any thoughts.

The sticky/locked directory thread, appears to be inactive overall in its use, hence my thoughts are to release the thread.

Three separate gaming links have not been posted on for over 2 months within it and the authors have not appeared on this board recently. I will not touch the gaming threads but just release the directory they are in. The authors would then need to find the links if required at a later date through their own profile.

Hoadie, you do not need to worry because your threads along with my prediction league, will hold there own ground on the board, via the relevant weekly comments.

I am also considering closing the blues rock thread and replacing it with a new version (maybe sticky?). I am open to new ideas which encourages activity, including that from (non Gills) visiting board members to participate. Suggestions for a new name would be welcome. I have a few in mind but would obviously prefer your input.

If anyone can come up with new ideas, which encourages activity please let me know via this thread.

Yeah my threads are always on there weekly so people remember them, no problems with that as many people may not even look on the directory so it is ok.
 
I think the name could be as you have at the top "The Rainham End". Sounds like a good name for a Gills board.
 
vinney & alwaysright - suggestions noted for your name choices for the new thread to replace 'blues rock cafe'

Although I was thinking more of a social meeting place name like 'The Cricketers', advertising cheaper beer and food and the real meeting place of the home fans <laugh>

I am sure there is a message in there somewhere <whistle>
 
I thought you meant a new name for the board,instead of not606. My mistake. In that case I'll chuck in "The Watering Hole".

As you're the mod on this board it kind of makes it your bar, why not call it "Scooters" :grin:
 
grumpy - 'Scooters' - now your on my wave length of thinking, a term that some will not understand but those that have been around long enough will <ok>
