    Do not underestimate Bury, I could be wrong but I feel this is going to be a close game a one goal victory either way, so...

    Again we are playing a team below us in the table, not something we have been very good at in recent times, however, I am calling us the underdogs in this one and recent weeks have shown that we do well when underdogs.

    Underdogs??
    As already mentioned we don't do well against teams below us in the league.
    Bury have just beaten a very experienced Stoke side in the EFL trophy.
    Todays' ref has presided over just 15 home wins in the last 2 years, 29 away wins.
    Todays' ref has been in charge of 8 Gills' games only one has resulted in a win for us.

    Grumpygit i see where you are coming from, but we did beat Reading in the same cup scoring 7 goals BUT we did concede 5 in the process which is very scary.
    But we are starting to score, we have only lost 1 in the last 7 against Bury so me thinks 4-2 Gills
    ( Eaves,Parker, Oldaker, M,Bo,Beckford and Smith )

    Why do people keep saying we beat Reading, it was some under 23 team that shouldn't even be in our comps. Please don't let these B Teams in via the back door, this is what the FA are planning to do, once they get acceptance via the less popular competitions from the fans. As far as I'm concern that 7-5 can be erased from history...oh along with Hereford <whistle><laugh><ok>

    Providing certain players don't get complacent there's no reason why we shouldn't win reasonably comfortably. Not thinking of anyone in particular, but sometimes a player (or more) can just not be as up for it if the competition doesn't appear to be there.
