A good second half by Gills, shame Lee came off so early as i think we missed his drive. I think Allen was saving him for saturday. I was impressed with all the back 4 tonight against a very quick forward line. We missed Westons pace, as we never really troubled the keeper. I like young Allen who seems to give 100% every match. Lets hope we go back to winning ways on saturday.
I know this is a few days late, but am I the ONLY one that thought Burton was crap on tuesday? I didn't think he controlled the ball at all well - if it wasn't his first touch that was poor, then it was his second. Admittedly he showed glimpses of what he can do, but as a rating out of 10 I'd give him at least 3 less than Hoadie did. On another note, I have a strong feeling Strevens will (or at least SHOULD start on saturday) I thought he looked bright and lively, won every header and 50/50 when he came on - as he did against Daggers too (as well as that cheeky little backheel that put keds through) Overall, very pleased with performance - and if we play like that for the rest of the season, we're easily looking at autos...
