Been a while for me too but the Clarendon was still going.
I know the Boars Head, been in there before.
Last time I was over that way I watched the derby in the Eastender.
I got offered a threesome with a mother & daughter.
Just couldn't do it, got cold feet, supped off & ****ed off, lol.
Coward I know.

Had nowt to do with the daughter being in her 50s and the mother in her 80s did it?:cheesy:

I would describe them as a 50's style rock and Roll/R&B band.. They have a double bass and drum going, a lad who can make the saxophone talk (who is Sombrero's mate) and a lead vocalist/ musician who can do just about everything including some fabulous piano and harmonica solos.. They are just a very entertaining band and well worth a butchers at the Butchers..
Mate, I was literally about to text you. I'm absolutely knackered with a chest infection, finally got antibiotics yesterday, so if they kick in, I'll see about going.

Saw Blue Diamond recently - very good. Bits of Tull, Wishbone Ash, Fleetwood Mac (old and new) and Tom Petty.

Blue Diamond are a cracking band.. The lead singer Pat Mcmahon used to be in a local punk/new wave band called the Show Bizz Kids in the late 1970's who I used to follow.. Always thought they would make it big, but they never did..
