Its a risky one going to see old bands.

Madness. One of my all time favourited. Last time i saw them left disapointed. But on the flip side Bad Manners were ****ing fantastic.
Jethro Tull are still great even if Ian Anderson elder statesman is losing some vocal talent but undoubtedly still an immense flautist -one legged at times - contemporary rock roll magician - imo

No not Ryan......concerts, shows........gigs.

Anyone going to any in the coming weeks....anyone been to any in the past few weeks?

I'm off to watch a group called Vant at the Cluny in Newcastle on Thursday. The guitarist and singer is a guy called Mattie Vant who hails from Seaham. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I've already watched so far this year....the Stranglers, the Alarm, the Vamps (lol) and 5 Seconds of Summer (lol), the last two with the daughter.

Got tickets to watch the Damned in November...class.
Off to see the Uk Subs friday in boro. Then 1977at the Ivy House on sunday

That's one hell of a line up of gigs that mind bart! Not heard much of CHarlse Bradley's stuff but the rest I can comfortably say I'd have loved to see them all!

You need to check Charles Bradley out - he's awesome. Saw him in Glasgow. He was on at The Arena in CRAALAND a few weeks ago, but I couldn't go.

He's a bit like James Brown, but better IMO.

Bart

On FB they had a 1st, best & last/next band you have seen.

Mine were Uriah Heep mid 70's, Rolling Stones 81 at Sid James Park & Joe Bonnamassa.

Watched VANT at the Cluny last night. It was the last night of their tour, they put on an awesome show and all for £6.50. My ears are still ringing this morning lol.
its amazing the change, from mackem hating madman on the warm glow thread, to an Olivia Newton John, goody goody, on this thread, cant get over the change , well done what ever the doctor gave you keep taking it as it works. i like your new name as well much better than Dirty, i think toffee hammer would suit better though.

No ****ing way, seen em about 5 times this last year. Went crowd surfing at 'wardrobe' in Leeds and forced Mattie to abandon 'Karma Seeker' halfway through to stop the bouncer beating the living **** out of me. "
Spent last Saturday watching me dads band supporting GBH in Halifax. ****ing reyt laugh, this is em..
