Think I said on the @Chazz Rheinhold Book Thread that I’m currently reading Mark Lanegan’s autobiography (Screaming Trees vocalist) ‘Sing Backwards and Weep’ Steady night time, just before bed, read. Turned the page after the Oasis debacle, to find him, quite randomly tbh, completely slagging off Liam Gallagher. a) as a **** & b) as someone who daren’t actually fight and hides behind his own bouncers. Really funny, and I thought his encounter was well written… …anyway it’s been now going on for about 6 pages with no sign of letting up! I’ve a feeling that he thinks the same about Liam as I do, but he’s had the opportunity to offer/threaten to slap him for real!!! Excellent book btw
Oasis have put the blame for dynamic pricing at the door of the promoters. “As for the well-reported complaints many buyers had over the operation of Ticketmaster’s dynamic ticketing: it needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used.”
Like he did in that club years ago? always liked Mick Hucknalls story and he said he’s not a fighter himself at all. Liam had slagged him off in the press and when he confronted him Liam offered him out Mick said ok and went outside and Liam pushed his bouncers in front of himself and pretended he couldn’t get to mick
These are all embellished stories. Liam is a true gent, he would not get involved with petty violence. Besides I had to google Mick Hucknall so no way he would have won.
Why isn’t he playing with the sex pistols? They’ve done a few gigs recently with Frank Carter fronting them.
They've fallen out with him over that Sex Pistols drama that was on Disney+. Not surprised really, the bloke that played Lydon was ****e.
He really was wasn’t he Difficult to get right I suppose with him been such an unusual a character bet chrissie hynde was pleased tho
He ruined it for me, whatever you think of him, he's an intelligent bloke and he was played as an idiot. Sydney Chandler is a bit gorgeous isn't she.
Not an apology though is it , more like they didn't even bother to find out any details which means they don't care
They knew Every artist knows. Even I saw the early adverts and assumed it was going to be dynamic pricing. There is literally no way that it never crossed their minds, particularly as it will have significantly affected the income from ticket sales. It’s not like it hasn’t been a story, and battled against by some artists, for at least 2 years.
