Ah, the Land of My Fathers!! If they did gymnastics at the Eisteddfod I'd be there like a shot but listening to kids singing in gob isn't my idea of fun. Pavarotti sang in the Eisteddfod. True story.
Great show last night. Awesome guitar play and a top band. The O2 was rocking. We even got Brothers In Arms and On Every Street, so, all in all, a very good night indeed.
Indeed, my friend. An excellent time was had, and I now look forward to attending next year's Championship final (yes, Charlton will be in it). What have you been up to?
Obviously Dev is lying again. Anyway, I'm very well mate, thinking about changing job just now actually. I was very pleased for you that Charlton won. Did you know that Rodney Trotter's middle name is Charlton?
Glad you enjoyed it as much as me in Newcastle.. We didn't get Brother's in Arms and 'On Every Street' but we got Romeo and Juliet and Your latest trick.. The band were brilliant, I have been to gigs for years and seen many but that talent was outstanding.. Knopfler = brilliance.. Good Wembley result for you lads, twice you have ****ed us over there.. All the best for the Championship and for new owners too Ponders..
Cheers, Joe. I'm sure you'll be joining us in the Championship sooner rather than later. Sunday's match wasn't quite the spectacle of 1998, yet the fans from both sides created a magnificent atmosphere. Sunderland and it's terrific people deserve every success. Knopfler and his band really are masters of the craft. I just hope it isn't his last tour.
Absolutely gutted. Waited 19 years to see STP again and don't you just know it, their one Glasgow date since then falls on the same day I go on holiday.
Ahh, you know me so well. Same place we go every year, planning to live there for 3 months of the year when I retire... in the next few years.
