As Matej says, at least the losing run is over. And that match was one that was more important to them.

Defence looked so much better. Wished we had a fit Sarr, although all of our front men did a good job.

True - but I think we deserved to win that - we certainly 'outstatted' them.

Was impressed by all three of our new signings - and pleased to see Kiko back fit again. Anyone know if Etobo is close to fitness again - I think he'll add something extra to the midfield.

Good to get a point late on.

    Sounds fully deserved.

    Nice to see Pedro score.

Shame Norwich won but Everton are hopeless.

Rafa must be in serious danger of being given the push.

I don't think you need to worry too much about us. It's three down from four, as long it's not the moneybags who escape I don't really care.

I'd like to think we could both overtake Everton and send them down.

Suggestion Kamara was limping at the end - hopefully just cramp.

Some unhappy Geordies on Twitter - one complaining that "they don't give us VAR decisions".<laugh>

If us and Norwich could get a run going then Leeds and Everton could be in trouble, they are the worst of the mid table teams, but as you say Newcastle must go down for the integrity of football

Before the game I would have settled for a point but we could have nicked it but at least we gained a point and didn't implode

Perhaps our saviours will be Pedro and Hernandez, not Dennis and Sarr, Dennis seemed to be off form today

Agree with that. They don’t seem to be pacing themselves like others, they just both go at it all game.

Pedro is beginning to show why we bought him, another year or so and he could be a top class prem player

Hernandez is a bit raw but has great pace and works hard

Femania has to stay fit for us

It was good to see Foster back. He commanded the area well I thought. Said afterwards that he was really aching from the exercise.
