My point was that Betty posted his opinion, fair enough, myself and Phil replied, again fair enough but the reply "Jesus Christ - what a bunch of bell ends. " is, to my mind, at the least, confrontational and I believe prevention is better than the cure. If I'm wrong I'll stand corrected. There's certainly no power trip and you know as well as I do that everyone on here has an equal voice. I was implying if he didn't like the responses to his posts here, there is a general chat thread he could use. Apologies if that didn't come across. Non football related banter is often better than football related and I personally prefer it at times so again no problem there. Betty - There's no high horse here mate. No probs H. The last dozen or so comments on this thread are EXACTLY the reason I declined the offer of becoming a CCFC moderator about 6 weeks back. Having said that, the very best of luck to you now that you've taken up the challenge. You will get 100% support from me and many others on here in repelling the idiotic wums that appear to have an IQ equal to their shoe size. Let's not stop the differences of opinion between CCFC posters, nor the classic banter with visitors of the same persuasion. Lets rock!!
Afternoon all. Been absent from this board for too long. Friday night was what we had been missing in some of our league games at home this season - ome fight and bite at the back but we sorely missed Bellamy. LBH tomorrow could go either way, the first goal is all important but I foresee extra time and pens. Bywater was not tested on friday amd looked shaky at corners. He is a disaster waiting to happen. Need our big players to come to the party - Bothroyd & Chopra in particular. Burke needs to find that drive and pace from earlier this season. Whittingham needs to contribute. Oli has to win that midfiled tussle and someone needs to play that killer ball. As for tonight, sadly have to BH again, I can only see one winner and thats them from down the road. Hopefully Forest can pull a finger out and do something but doubt it as our little cousins are on SKY and they win every single time they are on SKY at home.
