So, looking at the fixtures between now and New Year, the following is true:

• Next weekend, either Blades or Bristol City or both will drop points, and Boro or Ipswich or both will drop points - Leeds are away to QPR.
• Weekend of the 16th, either Derby or Villa or both will drop points, and Preston or Blades or both will drop points - Leeds are home to Norwich.
• Weekend of 23rd, either Wolves or Ipswich or both will drop points, and Villa or Blades or both will drop points - Leeds are home to Hull
• Boxing Day, no guaranteed points dropped by those in top 10 - Leeds are away at Burton.
• Weekend of 30th, either Derby or Ipswich or both will drop points, Villa or Boro or both will drop points, and Bristol City and Wolves or both will drop points - Leeds are away to Brum

What I'm saying is that a little run of good results and Leeds might well claw back a little of the ground lost in the barren spell and/or put a little breathing space between us and the chasing pack.

15 points up for grabs. Hope we can manage 9 to stay in touch with playoffs. Might force the loosening of purse strings in January. Impossible though to predict results

Most important part of our season will determine if we make the playoffs or not in my opinion. Mackies sending off for qpr today should help our cause next week.
Heart says 12 points head says 8 think we'll win next week, draw Norwich and Hull, win at Burton and lose to Brum. Fingers crossed that I'm completely wrong and we take all 15
