He can die whenever he wants, so long as he leaves the club for those who just want to watch good football.
I mentioned it at weekend! I'd spoken to someone who'd seen him, said he's very yellow!! Is that kidneys? Like as been said hope he's ok & if things had been different we'd all be calling for a bronze statue in his honour! How different things could have been eh?
And that in a nutshell is the tragedy. He should and quite easily could have been loved and revered more than any other owner. Instead, because of plain stupidity, he's reviled.
Also what is more saddening is he'll get a lot support & sympathy for being unwell! But I can imagine between now & the start of the new season we'll lose some oaps who've been lifelong city fans! And they'll slip away unoticed! And unappreciated!
If the worst should happen - and let's face it, he's pushing towards 80, does anyone really think there'd be any attitude change with Ehab in sole charge? As the membership debacle shows, he's as blinkered in his outlook as his father.
A4 pieces of paper with "Get well soon Assem" held up just before kick-off. Same as last night's protest.
There's more to life than football. Dislike him for what him & son are doing to the club, but wouldn't wish harm on him.
I don't think it's appropriate to post details, but he's not been well for a while and his condition has worsened significantly in the past week or so.
