As someone mentioned earlier we should import the brightest and best from the planet , not just anyone who is born in the E U that is my argument. The Australians have a sensible view to immigration and it works .
Also does this constitute a precedent which allows me to tell HRMC to go f** themselves each time they miscalculate my income and decide to hit me with a bit extra? Edit: *HMRC
Maybe, but that doesn't really relate to the context of the diagram concerning double standards in attitudes to freedom of movement around Europe.
Well dig up a diagram for people voting on sexy young clever oriental ladies to be allowed in over some no teeth scummy Romanian beggar women Jacky..
Who knows. This is all much a do about nothing, and i have no strong feelings either way. This was just an interesting infographic I saw posted up on facey b so thought I would share. What is annoying me is Cameron's stage managed shock and beel at the demand, despite knowing about it for quite some time.
It's incredible - like some stage managed square up at the weigh in for a boxing match - and incredibly the internet is full of people (like on this thread) cheering it on as if it was anything other than a stage managed square up. Check the comments on the BBC articles "I'm a Labour supporter and I don't usually like Cameron, but he is right to stand up for us"...
He will pay it anyway he only said he would not pay on the date demanded, the speech was cleverly orchestrated. Maybe they will shave a few million off and he will declare victory but next time a plane crashes or something big happens in the NEWS he will pay it and nothing will be said. Nobody will call him on it. That is why they employ spin doctors. Thumping the podium what a cock.
Either he has an embarrassing stand down - or he creates a European constitutional crisis. I can't believe that either of those was a good idea for an incumbent British Prime Minister -and I can only think he's just hoping to bury it if he wins the election.
Just the little angry outburst was enough to gain support he will still pay. Its like WWF all staged to get idiots to blindly follow. Boris will be next p m
It's a ploy to get the people who might vote UKIP to stay with the Tories. Wherever you look throughout the chronicles of history, people movement for economic reasons is beneficial to the host nation as well as the individual's. When people moan about immigration to the UK, I always say "imagine no one wanted to move here". Then we'd be really ****ed. And look at old USA, without doubt, the greatest nation in recent history. Huge, unabated immigration created New York, San Francisco etc, immeasurable technological advances, and the whole world is Americanised thanks to them exporting their culture all over the globe. I just don't see the issue. Let the ****s in (no crazy Arabs though) and build houses, hospitals and schools.
